Studio Duco x Acne Paper: Golden Issue Now Released
I’m thrilled to share that my latest collaboration with Acne Paper has officially been released today.
Commissioned by Acne Studios for the landmark 20th issue of Acne Paper, I created a collection of ten original etching-style illustrations in response to the theme “Golden” — a concept that explores the symbolic, cultural, and material power of gold across time and disciplines.
This issue is more than just a printed magazine; it’s an art book. With nearly 500 pages of photography, essays, portraits, and design, it celebrates opulence, mythology, architecture, and fashion through a golden lens. My illustrations weave through this visual narrative, echoing the grandeur and timelessness that gold represents. Each piece was developed using my hybrid process of traditional etching and digital layering, crafted to sit seamlessly within Acne Paper’s bold yet poetic world.
Working on this project was a true pleasure — and a challenge in restraint, tone, and detail. I’m honored to have contributed to an issue so rich with meaning, elegance, and visual ambition.
The Golden issue is now available to purchase via Acne Studios, and you can also explore more about the publication at Acne Paper.
