Commissioned by Penguin Random House's Del Ray imprint for Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver, Studio Duco continues an ongoing collection of interconnected cover designs.

The cover marks the third instalment in a collection built around the same concept, following the approach established for The Summer War.

For Spinning Silver, Studio Duco transforms coins into architecture, combining silver pieces, a castle and Russian-inspired turrets within a single intricate image. 

The etching rewards a closer look - it's a thoughtful cover that brings together several strands of Naomi Novik's story through one carefully crafted idea.
